About the Conference

This conference is an annual opportunity for networking, increased awareness and collaboration between health care executives and the information technology industry.

The fifth annual Okanagan Technology Symposium was held June 2-3, 2003 at the Grand Okanagan Lakefront Resort and Conference Centre, Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. The title "Health Care Transformation through Collaboration" reflects this conference's focus on how different groups can work together.

The audience of more than 250 people included health care executives and practitioners, senior policy makers and funding providers, and some of the information technology people who support them.

Conference host and moderator was Dr. John Weisbeck, MLA, Kelowna-Lake Country.
