Steve Nunn is a senior executive within our global technology practice and is Global lead for Data Center Technology and Operations. He specializes in infrastructure transformation and next generation data center projects with emphasis on global consolidation and rationalization programmes. He is also leading Accenture's Green IT program.
Steve has extensive knowledge and experience in the design and development of operational architectures, program managing the integration of multi-vendor computing environments and the design, implementation and operations of all aspects of IT tools, processes and procedures. Mr. Nunn's previous experience has extensively covered the IT Operations functional areas within a number of industries; Manufacturing/Retail, Financial Services, Computer manufacturing and Telecommunications. Steve has professional qualifications in Telecommunications.
In the communications industry Steve led a team that consolidated a global telecommunications manufacturer's IT infrastructure with the aim of reducing run-rate cost by more than 30%. The project scope was global with 80,000 users in 100 countries using 10,000 servers and included the complete infrastructure chain - mainframe, mid range, desktops and networks.
